The Couch to 5K Walking Program is tailored to those who may not haved walked in some time and would like to gradually start walking once a week at their own pace and eventually over time, be able to walk a 5K (3.1 miles).

The program will start this spring on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm and will walk 0.5 miles or less. The location will be at the W. B. Simpson Elementary School in Wyoming, DE at their outdoor track. We will have experienced walkers who will walk with you at your own pace. This will also be true for all of these C25K walks.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, April 10th around the Dover Green and Leglislative Mall in Dover at 6:00 pm and we will walk 0.75 miles.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, April 17th at Brecknock Park in Camden at 6:00 pm and we will walk 1 mile.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, April 24th at Kent County Recreation Center in Dover at 6:00 pm and we will walk 1.25 miles.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, May 1st at St. Jones Greenway in Dover at 6:00 pm and we will walk 1.5 miles.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, May 8th at Big Oak Country Park in Symrna at 6:00 pm and we will walk 2.0 miles.

The next walk will be on Tuesday, May 15th at Delaware Tech University in Dover at 6:00 pm and we will walk 2.5 miles.

The final walk will be on Tuesday, May 22nd at 5:30 pm in Dover and the walk will be a 5K (3.1 miles).

This walk will start by idyllic Silver Lake Park and will be on paved streets and sidewalks going through the Dover Historic District and Capitol Complex.
